Arsenal takes 30 players for a summer tour in Asia. Among them, two members of the academy aged 15 years old.
It is an infrequent fact to be reported. Two players aged 15 will participate in a summer internship of a professional team, in this case Arsenal. The London club takes the Max Dowman attacking midfield on its Asian tour, and central defender Marli Salmon.
Dowman, born in December 2009, belongs to the English U17. Salmon, a little older (August 2009) evolves with the U16 selection of Three Lions. The two teenagers will rub shoulders with the new recruits of the London club: Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard.
The team trained by Mikel Arteta will start his internship in Singapore, with matches against AC Milan (July 23) and Newcastle (July 27). In Hong Kong, the Gunners will cross the iron with the London neighbors of Tottenham on July 31.
Madueke absent from the tour
Another new Arsenal head 2025-2026, Noni Madueke, will not be traveling. The 23-year-old right winger is resting after a season with Chelsea completed on July 13 by the victory in the Club World Cup before PSG (3-0). He left the blues after the semi-final against Flamengo on July 8. He entered the 68th minute.
Arsenal, second in the last English championship, ten lengths from Liverpool, will start the new Premier League season, on August 17 on the lawn of Manchester United.
