He did not let a new opportunity pass. Tadej Pogacar won the 4th stage of this 2025 Tour de France, Tuesday, July 8, by ahead of Mathieu Van der Poel in the sprint after a breathtaking final between Cadors in Rouen. At only 26 years old, the Slovenian of Uae Team Emirates Xrg thus signs his 100th victory with professionals and returns at the same time in the same second in the general classification as the Alpecin-Deceuninck runner, who retains the yellow jersey.

Beaten in the sprint by the Dutchman two days ago, the reigning world champion rolled his men before the last two final ribs to place an attack in the terrible ramp of Saint-Hilaire (800 M to 10.6%, category 3), where only Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-lease-a Bike) had managed to follow it with difficulty. The two men were resumed but the Slovenian was the fastest in the final stretch while the Danish completes the podium at the end of this explosive final. First French, Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) took fifth place.
